What we keep, and what we let go

A short answer first: we keep almost nothing. Here is the longer one.

Things we never ask for

There are no accounts, no checkout and no payment forms on this site. We do not ask for your name, address or card, and we have nowhere to store them.

Things that pass by

• Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested) kept by our host for security and kept briefly.
• Anonymous page-view counts that tell us which rooms and scents people read about most.
• Whatever you choose to put in an email to us — used only to answer you.

When you follow a buy button

Our buy buttons take you to the product listing on a partner marketplace. From that moment their privacy policy applies, and they may note that you arrived from us so that we can earn a small commission through their affiliate programme. We never see what you buy or who you are.

Cookies

We set no advertising cookies of our own. Your browser settings decide everything else.

Asking about your data

Write to contact@smellsbegoneus.com and we will tell you what, if anything, we hold — usually the answer is an email thread and nothing more.
