If the smell lingers

Before anything else: a jar needs time and air. Then, if it still isn't right, here's what to do.

Three things to try first

1. Give it a full week. Gels work slowly and steadily; the first days are the weakest.
2. Move it into moving air — a doorway, near a vent, not inside a closed cabinet.
3. Match the size to the room. A 15 oz jar is built for about 450 sq ft; a basement may need a gallon.

Returns and replacements

Returns, refunds, replacements and warranty claims are handled by the partner store you bought from, under their policy and time limits. Open your order on their site and choose the return or problem option; they hold your order details and can act on them straight away.
